If you're all ready to start reading a new book, I don't mind getting us started.
My mother in law just mentioned one called, The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. It's a feel good book. Wikipedia's synopsis is: " It recounts the life and death of a simple yet dignified old man, Eddie. After dying in a freak accident, Eddie finds himself in heaven where he encounters five people who have significantly affected his life, whether he realized it at the time or not. Each imparts a divine piece of wisdom unto him, instilling a deeper comprehension regarding the most intimate facets of life. In the beginning he dedicates the book to his uncle Edward Beitchman. He says that he wants people like his uncle who felt unimportant here on earth to realize, finally, how much they mattered and how they were loved."
The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester is a recommendation I got off of the Stephanie Meyer's website. It's total fantasy book. She says, "It's the oddest/sweetest mix of Little House on the Prairie and X-Men. I was smiling the whole time (except for the part where I cried). I gave it to my mom, and I'm reading it to my kids—it's absolutely multi-generational. Prepare to have your heart warmed."
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli is in the top 20 of Best Young Adult Novels and I thought I'd like to read that someday (I saw it at the school library) but its another romance novel and I think for now I'd like to try something different.
If we want to try science fiction, Orson Scott Card, Ender's Game maybe one idea. I have no clue about it other than it being on "Good Reads" top 20.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith is one I've heard about from I don't know where and thought about reading. It's realistic fiction.
I'd like to dive into a good mystery book too, but don't know of one to suggest.
Well, these are just some thoughts. We can take a vote on what we would like to read for this month on what I suggested. My vote would be for The Girl Who Could Fly. Im a very responsible person and anything too realistic is not as enjoyable for me when it somes to entertainment. I need more moments to laugh.

I actually am going to need to sit out this month - we have a conference coming up at the beginning of April, and I have about 10 young adult books piled up that I need to read beforehand! However, I can recommend some good mysteries!
The #1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith - a woman opens a detective agency in Africa and solves hilarious cases.
The Crocodile on the Sandbank - plucky Victorian woman goes to Egypt and meets an irascible and handsome Egyptologist.
The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde - in an alternate world where the worlds inside books are as real as the one outside, someone kidnaps Jane Eyre and a literary detective has to find her.
Those are some of my favorites.
